Irene Quirmbach, viola studied with George Perlman; Samuel Magad at Northwestern Univ.; and Roman Totenberg at Boston University where she graduated. She attended Kneisel Hall in Blue Hill, Maine; Mozarteum in Salzburg and Nathan Milstein’s Master Classes in Zurich. Among many musical activities she currently teaches violin at Francis W. Parker School in Chicago, and is a staff member at The Festival Institute at Round Top, Texas. She is and active freelancer and member of the Chicago Philharmonic and Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra and performs with many other ensembles in the Chicago area.
Cellist, Jill Kaeding is known for her versatility in all mediums of music. She played for seventeen years with “Corky Siegel’s Chamber Blues”, touring throughout North America and Europe, including performances at the Montreal Jazz Festival. Jill is a member of the HAWK String Quartet, which has joined forces with Jim Gailloreto, saxophonist/composer to form Jazz String Quintet, an award winning blend of original “jazz chamber music”. As a free lancing musician she has performed with a number of local orchestras, musical theater productions and with many national artists including: Ray Charles, Lyle Lovett, Garth Brooks, Poi Dog Pondering, Kurt Elling, Faith Hill and on the Oprah Winfrey Show.
