Ken Paoli, pianoKen Paoli is equally at ease in the worlds of academic and commercial music.  He holds his DMA from Northwestern University.  He has been on the faculties of DePaul and Western Illinois University and is currently a Professor of Music at College of DuPage where he teaches recording technology and computer music applications.  As a writer and arranger Ken has produced music for radio and television “jingles” and industrial films.  He has been active as a music journalist on technology and is a sought after music technology consultant.  Ken continues to perform as a free-lance “keyboard player” performing all styles of music including jazz, classical, and “pit” shows.

Maevis Sheet 2 - Version 2Nicknamed the “Chicago Flash” by the late Jazz Euphonium player Rich Matteson, David Kublank has continued the tradition of the cool and be-bop jazz era’s with his influences Stan Getz, Johnny Griffin, Dexter Gordon, and Julian “Cannonball” Adderly.  David has been a freelance musician  and teacher in the Chicago area and has traveled the US from coast to coast since 1983 working with vocalists including Kurt Elling, Sally Richards, Denis DiBlasio, and bands such as the Roy Vombrack Orchestra, Chicago Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra, John Burnett Swing Orchestra, Al Sofia and Spirit, Chicago Grandstand Big Band, Omni, In Synch, Bobby Sanders Orchestra, among others.

Michael Fiorino, bassA professional bassist for more than 30 years, Michael Fiorino has performed or recorded with a wide array of performers during his career, including Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis, Jr., Frankie Avalon, The Drifters, The Platters, the Coasters, the Smothers Brothers and Rich Little. Michael also performed with Chicago jazz great Judy Roberts for four years, and was on two of her highly acclaimed albums. In addition, Michael has performed on numerous high-profile jingles for companies such as Anheuser-Busch, McDonald’s, United Airlines and Coors.

Chuck Schwrtz, drumsFor more than 35 years drummer, Chuck Schwartz has worked in the Chicago area filling his days and evenings with music.  His work in the “jobbing” circuit includes weddings, corporate events, and nightclubs.  He has recorded commercials for Maytag, Firestone, Kelloggs and the Illinois State Lottery, and has recorded for many different artists in sessions.  Chuck is also a private percussion instructor with a studio of over 50 students.
